Umbrella NI grew out of working in an industry for 20 years that has changed more than any other. Watching very traditional businesses who had traded the same way for decades, going in a few short years from receiving orders by fax, to launching full e-commerce platforms, whose customer base was within a 30 minute drive of their front door, increasing to orders from all over the world.
In order to properly service those companies, an agency needs to be creative, flexible and always to be looking ahead. And unfortunately sometimes agencies are unwilling, or unable to evolve. And that leads to stagnation. So a decision was made and a leap of faith was taken. And Umbrella was born. We learnt a long time ago that every business has different needs, what works for one, won't work for another. You can't be a one trick pony. So we offer a complete hands on service that is designed to fulfil all of the needs of a business in Northern Ireland. We have countless examples of building someone a website or similar, and the next thing they ask "Do you know anything about setting up a Facebook page?" or "How do you get onto Google Maps?". And then you slowly become "The Web Guy", as in "I want to get higher up on google rankings, I better speak to my web guy" or "All my competitors are on Instagram, I'm gonna call my web guy to get on there too."

We regularly become slightly obsessed about pushing a particular niche or achieving a certain goal for a client.
